Recently, a Singaporean channel, Who Who Call, interviewed a group of uncles who meet up weekly just to play basketball together.“We’ve known each other ever since we played basketball together as kids. All 20 of us love the sport so up till, we’re still playing basketball together.” Through their stories, it all started when one of them, Teck Ann complained that there was no one to play basketball with him so he recruited his friends to play. The others also said that they would know if anyone didn’t come to the weekly basketball matches and made several good-natured jabs at each other while showcasing their close relationship.
“We are definitely closer than brothers. Having this lifestyle every week: playing basketball and having fun with each other, it’s a really good life.”How wholesome is this! Friendship this strong is certainly hard to find and create, we hope that these uncles will continue as they have before.
