Baylan Skoll Is Played By The Late Ray Stevenson When concerning Ahsoka's Order 66 survivor, Baylan Skoll is played by the late Ray Stevenson. Tragically, Stevenson passed away on May 21, 2023, four days before his 59th birthday and three months before the premiere date of Ahsoka. Stevenson's role was completed for Ahsoka before his passing, meaning his legacy will live on in Baylan Skoll among the many other fantastic roles Stevenson has portrayed over the years.
Other TV roles from Stevenson came in the form of Ukrainian mobster Isaak Sirko in Dexter season 7 and Blackbeard in Black Sails seasons 3 and 4. Interestingly, Stevenson has played roles in Star Wars' TV shows before portraying Baylan Skoll in Ahsoka. In Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, Stevenson voiced Gar Saxon. Saxon was a Mandalorian who sided with Darth Maul during the era of the Galactic Republic and later the Empire, only to be defeated by Ahsoka's Sabine Wren.
