He also reiterated a US warning that “all options are on the table” to prevent Iran from attaining a nuclear weapon. The Huthis have launched scores of drone and missile attacks on ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden since the outbreak of the war, which was spurred by the October 7, 2023 Hamas attack on Israel.
