White House communications director Bill Shine resigns to advise Trump campaign

White House communications director Bill Shine has resigned and will work on President Donald Trump's re-election campaign, according to a statement released Friday. In a statement, Sarah Sanders called Shine "a great leader" and said his decision was "a huge gain for the president's reelection campaign." Shine worked under former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes before joining the White House last July.
