TalkTV Presenter Nicola Thorp says when money or career advancement is involved, celebrities “drop their morals” after celebrities were criticised for wearing outfits at the Met Gala inspired by controversial fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

“It was enraging … seeing photos of people who I admired, people I looked up to people who had been outspoken, issues of fatphobia, issues within the Me-Too movement,” Ms Thorp told Sky News Australia.

“When money’s involved or career advancement is involved, well for them to drop their morals and it annoys people such as myself, people who genuinely do believe in these causes because we will get a bad name, we will get called the woke left.
