A new gallery of images reveals returning characters and new journeys coming soon in Prime Video's epic fantasy series The Wheel of Time season 2.
New images show an early look at The Wheel of Time season 2. The epic fantasy series, which premiered on Prime Video in 2021, is based on the series of novels of the same name by Robert Jordan. It follows the adventures of Moiraine Damodred , who is on a journey to uncover the identity of the prophesied Dragon Reborn.
Today, Prime Video unveiled a new gallery of first-look images from The Wheel of Time season 2. The images offer a glimpse into the continuing journeys of returning characters including Perrin and Lan as well as offering a look at the new character Elayne , the princess of the kingdom of Andor. They also released a brand-new alternate book cover for Jordan's second Wheel of Time novel, 1990's The Great Hunt.

However, the fact that they are releasing a new version of The Great Hunt featuring the characters from the series implies that the new season will be relatively faithful to the second book.
Another major storyline from the novel includes Perrin and more on an epic journey to retrieve the Horn of Valere. It will be difficult to predict what new elements The Wheel of Time will introduce to the source material. However, it will likely build toward the same ending, where a massive battle brews and threatens everyone involved.
