WhatsApp ad on summons discount fake, say police
Police are tracking down the people responsible for spreading a message offering a fake discount on police and Road Transport Department summons. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, July 17, 2022.
Police secretary Noorsiah Mohd Saaduddin said the advertisement, which offered up to 50% discount on police and Road Transport Department summons, also displayed the phone numbers of people who could be contacted to obtain the purported discount.
