Newly released footage from the Uvalde Robb Elementary School shooting showed how authorities behaved for over an hour while the gunman was in the building.
New footage of the shooting and surrounding events that occurred at the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, has been released.on Tuesday, showing multiple angles from the school shooting on May 24.
After bystanders attempted to check on the shooter, he fired his gun in their direction, forcing them to flee. The hallway camera also captures a child exiting the bathroom and walking into the hallway to see the back of the gunman. Three minutes after the gunman arrived, armed police enter the building. Some of the officers move quickly down the hallway towards the classroom where the gunshots are thought to be coming from.
The armed officer, with the body camera, walks towards the officers set up behind protective shields crouching at the hallway the shooter walked down.
