“Being gone for the last couple years, guys, it just really puts things into perspective,” Verlander told his teammates after they beat the Rays 4-0 in the division clincher. “These moments, even though we expected to be here, don’t take these little things for granted, man. This is awesome to win. Your division is not easy at this level. I know we got bigger things in sight, but let’s enjoy this moment.
