We're wrapping our heads around Peele's genre-bending sci-fi Western.
In true Peele fashion,is a thrilling monster flick with a deep societal message, and it doesn't answer everything, allowing the audience to come to their own conclusions on some details. Some fans may have left the theater needing a breakdown of that epic ending . Here's our recap of how the film ends.
The incident has left psychological scars, but Jupe has also profited from that spectacle. He charges admission to a hidden room ofmemorabilia, and he tells the story by describing an SNL sketch based off the attack. Since he profited off one spectacle, he decides to make another, inviting the park goers to a show where he'll lure the alien out by feeding it a horse .
After Antler gets sucked up, the recently-duped IT guy Angel gets his own small hero moment. He's been the most outwardly scared the whole time , but he shows bravery as he assists Antler in getting the shot. He's also a quick thinker; before he gets sucked up after the director, he wraps himself in barbed wire. The wire injures the monster, making it reveal its full form, and Angel gets spit out.
