Almost 30 years have passed between Mighty Morphin Power Rangers’ ending and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always. The Power Rangers reunion opened with the original Power Rangers fighting together, although only Zack and Billy removed their helmets. Once & Always raises the question of what happened to each original Power Ranger between Mighty Morphin and their 2023 reunion.
In the BOOM! Studios’ Power Rangers continuity, which reimagines Mighty MorphinPower Rangers as if it was set in the present day, Trini’s journey was quite different. The Power Rangers comics revealed that Trini, Zack, and Jason never went to the Peace Conference. Instead, they became Omega Rangers, a Power Rangers team operating from space. In the current Power Rangers comics, set during the latter half of Mighty Morphin season 2, Trini has become the Omega Red Ranger.
8 Zack Zack’s Power Rangers timeline is quite similar to Trini’s. Zack exited Zordon’s Power Rangers team ahead of the Peace Conference and was replaced by Adam as the Black Ranger. In the Power Rangers comics’ continuity, Zack became the Omega Black Ranger as soon as he left the Mighty Morphin team. According to the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Pink comic book, both Trini and Zack stopped being Omega Rangers at some point.
5 Tommy Tommy Oliver’s Power Rangers legacy spans three decades and involves multiple Power Rangers seasons. There are several Tommy Power Rangers forms, from Mighty Morphin Green to Dino Thunder Black. Introduced as the Evil Green Ranger, Tommy eventually broke free of Rita’s mind control. The Green Ranger joined the Power Rangers and fought side by side with Zordon’s team until he lost his powers. Tommy later returned as the White Ranger, Power Rangers’ new leader.
