Ohio State football quarterback Devin Brown evaluated his first career extended performance in a 35-7 victory over Youngstown State.
• On if it took him a moment to get going. ”I wouldn’t say I was necessarily ready to go, and I didn’t think I was going in on that first draft that I went in. So it kind of caught me off-guard. But it was good to be out there and have fun out there.”
• Week 1 was tough because it was hard to predict what Indiana was going to do. “From Week 1 to Week 2, I mean, it was night and day different just because everybody felt comfortable. We knew what was going on. We knew what our game plan was.” • Gave himself a grade of C but overall called it “a pretty good day for my first time having meaningful reps.”
