But Whalebone Magazine’s first-ever photo contest, which was launched in response to the global pandemic, may be exactly what photographers needed during the months of uncertainty and lockdown. “We looked at the photographers who were telling us that they were out of work and stuck at home. They couldn't exactly ‘work from home,’" says Eddie Berrang, cofounder of Whalebone.
