A whale shark and its baby were caught on video by Chinese tourists boating off Gaya Island in Kota Kinabalu. The manager of Borneo Exotika Adventure Sdn Bhd, Sebastian K, witnessed the sighting and mentioned that the protected islands of Kota Kinabalu attract beautiful sea creatures to greet tourists.
Kota Kinabalu : A whale shark and its baby were caught on video awing Chinese tourists boating off Gaya Island today.
"And it brought a baby on top of its head! Then it slowly went around our boat,” said Borneo Exotika Adventure Sdn Bhd's manager, Sebastian K.He was escorting the group of Chinese tourists when the sighting occurred, the second after last week's encounter off Tg Aru. “The islands of Kota Kinabalu are well protected, we believe this might be why whale sharks and beautiful sea creatures come close to say hello to our tourists, this time accompanied by a newborn,” Sebastian told Daily Express.
