Well-being of Tg Piai fishermen to come up in Dewan Rakyat

ISSUES relating to the well-being of fishing community in Tg Piai, Johor, are among matters to be brought up during the sitting of the Dewan Rakyat today. According to the order papers, Abd Latiff Ahmad is expected to raise the question about efforts of the Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Ministry to ensure the Tg Piai fishermen do not lose their livelihoods due to the declining fishing areas as a result of development projects such as the Tg Pelepas Port.
