This week, Walmart announced two Roblox regions to explore.
virtual and augmented reality business via the popular sandbox game world. Curious players now can visit two “experiences” currently: The aforementioned Land of Walmart, as well as something called Walmart’s Universe of Play.
Walmart Land reportedly features a store offering your avatars assorted virtual merchandise for purchase, presumably via in-game Robux. There’s also a digital ferris wheel, aactor Noah Schnapp, a virtual dressing room, and digital concerts from the likes of “popular artists such as Madison Beer, Kane Brown and YUNGBLUD.”Of course Walmart is hardly the only businesses suddenly hyping the “metaverse” over the past year.
