WednesdayNetflix star Hunter Doohan explains the truth behind Tyler's feelings for the titular Addams daughter.
Wednesday star Hunter Doohan explains Tyler's feelings for Wednesday. Co-created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar and directed by Tim Burton, Wednesday focuses on the story of Jenna Ortega's titular Addams Family daughter as she enrolls at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts once attended by her parents, Gomez and Morticia . At Nevermore, Wednesday is swiftly embroiled in mysterious plots and old secrets, all while contending with the school's occupants.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Now, in an interview with EW, Doohan reveals whether Tyler ever harbored true feelings for Wednesday. He was blinded by his vengeance and what had happened to his mother, and therefore, the only thing he truly cared for was destroying Wednesday, the Addams Family, and Nevermore. Read what Doohan says below:
"He was always playing her. Maybe there's an attraction there and, he probably wouldn't admit it, but a respect for her, but he's filled with so much anger and hatred toward her and her family and all of Nevermore because of what happened to his mom.
At the moment, there has been no word on the renewal status of Wednesday season 2. However, if the show returns, it will likely see Wednesday return to Nevermore for another semester as she possibly investigates a new mystery and further hones her psychic abilities. As for Tyler, the Wednesday season 1 finale saw him carried away in a police van in chains while unconscious, but midway through the journey, he wakes up and transforms into his Hyde form.
What To Expect From Wednesday Season 2? Co-creator Gough has teased his plans for Wednesday season 2, which will include more of the Addams Family. Season 1 simply scratched the surface with the other Addams' as the focus was largely on their daughter. One character that could presumably have a larger role in Wednesday season 2 is Zeta-Jones' Morticia.
