The minimally cooked food they do consume includes sprouted curry burgers or zucchini and yellow mung-bean fritters, although they mostly rely on fruit that doesn’t fill them up as much, allowing them to “eat much larger proportions.” “So many people eat more protein than they need,” he continued, saying the pair only consumes about 30 to 40 grams per day, which is a little more than one ounce. “Protein is in everything. You don’t need as much as you think.”
