Offensive lineman Alan Ali redirected the credit back to Miller, calling him a humble person and a great teammate. Ali said he knew Miller was a “special back” after seeing the type of cuts he made in the spring.TCU head coach Sonny Dykes said [the redirection of credit] shows the team has a strong culture, which is the “most important” reason for the team’s success.
“Let’s just worry about ourselves,” said Dykes, who has repeatedly emphasized the team has not talked about rankings, standings or anything of that nature. “When you have confidence … that allows you to play with technique … do your job the way you are supposed to and not try too much to make something happen,” Dykes said.
