Jesuit priest Father Frank Brennan says we have to “do the hard work” to get the wording on the Voice to Parliament “as good as we can”.
“At the moment, this is the first time we’ve had an open, transparent parliamentary process, let’s do the hard work to try and get the wording as good as we can,” Fr Brennan told Sky News Australia.
“As I’ve said in my submission if we were to replace the word ‘executive government’ with ‘ministers of state’, then I would completely recommend that the bill be passed by the parliament.”
