All athletes have made it home safely from the Paris Olympics and at the airport, Hannah Yeoh had an apology to make to all Malaysians.

“On behalf of the Malaysian contingent, I apologise to all Malaysians because we haven’t brought our 1st gold medal home.”

Hannah highlighted that the Road to Gold project is for 2 cycles of the Olympics, which are the Paris Olympics and the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, when the Malaysian athletes will once again compete for the gold medal.“3 athletes, namely Azizulhasni, Nurul Izzah Izzati, and Aniq Kashdan broke the world record. Muhammad Syah Firdaus, on the other hand, recorded a personal best.”“We can see that every athlete has worked hard trying to get the best chance to win a medal.

“We need time to meet and prepare the report because we have a busy schedule after the Paris Olympics.” The president of the Football Association of Malaysia recently said the preparation to hunt for the gold medal in the Los Angeles Olympics 2028 will have to start immediately, and the athletes are advised to focus on the sports that they’re aiming to achieve gold medals for.
