We can do better, PM says of those playing up sensitive issues during Ramadan

PUTRAJAYA: It is disappointing to see certain quarters, including Members of Parliament, playing up sensitive issues during Ramadan, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim , I came back to Malaysia to issues of bak kut teh and school canteens being open during Ramadan being played up.

Instead of creating a negative atmosphere, the Prime Minister expressed hope that Malaysians would engage in discussions that benefit the country. “If we are firm in our principles, we can do and achieve everything we desire. Let’s focus on the fundamental questions during Ramadan,” he added.
