NSTnation Primary school children expressed joy at participating in the newly-expanded Supplementary Food Programme (RMT)
During the launch of the programme at Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Suria earlier today, the participants did not miss a chance to expressed their happiness for being selected into the programme.
“However, I am participating in the programme again due to my family’s situation,” she said when met during the launch of RMT expansion at her school earlier today. “So, I understand if sometimes she could only help prepare a cup of Milo for me in the morning, as she will be rushing to work.“By participating in the programme, I feel happy because I get to eat before I start my class, which makes me feel very hyped and energetic,” she said.“I am given only RM3 pocket money for schools every day.
“But now after joining the programme, I feel very happy because it helps to fill my tummy until recess,” said the 10-year old.
