"The smell shows to be gradually reducing closer to intake; it is therefore a matter of time before 0 ton is recorded," said Ng.Ng said a water filling station would be set up at USJ4 by 2pm and her office has asked for water pipes to be installed at a few other locations in Subang Jaya that would be advised later.
"My team and I will be on the ground to work alongside Air Selangor with water distribution efforts," she added. Air Selangor had earlier announced that the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant and Bukit Tampoi Water Treatment Plant were temporarily shut down following an odour pollution incident at Jenderam Hilir Raw Water Pump Station.
A total of 472 areas in five regions are expected to experience unscheduled water supply disruptions starting 7am on Saturday , namely Petaling , Hulu Langat , Sepang , Putrajaya and Kuala Langat .Consumers may also refer to all of Air Selangor's official communication channels, including app and social media, or contact the Air Selangor Contact Centre at 15300. Inquiries and complaints can also be submitted to the Help Centre via www.airselangor.com and Air Selangor app.
