As announced earlier this year, SPOTV acquired exclusive media rights to UEFA EURO 2024, making it the sole network to broadcast the football tournament in Malaysia and Singapore. While it may seem that options are limited, it isn't entirely the case.Fortunately, many services in Malaysia - such as Astro, unifi TV, and others - offer SPOTV as part of their respective packages.

Another thing we should point out is that all of the Unifi TV packages listed above also include SPOTV NOW access to customers. However, much like subscribing to the streaming service on its own, you are still required to purchase the season pass in order to watch EURO 2024 through the app. On the flip side, you need not worry about buying any add-ons if you're planning to tune into the tournament directly via the SPOTV channels on Unifi TV.
Chances of this actually happening is close to unlikely, and the minister himself did point out that acquiring the licence to broadcast will be very costly. 'We have to be careful in terms of cost because we know the cost is too high, so we have to see if it has been allocated,' he told reporters. 'If it has been allocated we will take it but if it is outside of what has been allocated it will be an issue.
