The Washington Examiner's Tim Carney told Lisa Kennedy Montgomery on Fox Business's Kennedy on Wednesday that the Supreme Court has rightfully returned the issue of abortion to the"democratic realm."
"This decision has finally returned abortion — the protection of innocent human lives, the protection of babies — it’s returned that to the democratic realm," he explained."It allows the beginning of settling the issue culturally," he added. When asked what the smartest thing is for Republicans to do in the wake of the landmark decision, Carney asserted that"it's incumbent on Republican lawmakers, especially on the state level, to go ahead and pass laws to protect the unborn babies.
