Watch this C8 Corvette smash into a curb while trying to show off.
on Instagram last weekend, shows an Elkhart Lake blue C8 Corvette coupe trying to rip a few donuts in an intersection on South Spring Street in downtown Los Angeles, California. With the crowd egging them on, the driver attempts to spin the car around, but can't get even one full donut in before smacking a curb where people are also standing.
The impact caused catastrophic damage to the rear suspension, leaving the right rear wheel facing outward in a way it shouldn't be, thus making the car undrivable. That didn't stop the driver from trying to flee the scene. In the video, you can hear them mashing the accelerator pedal in a desperate attempt to get away, but the car is having none of it. Eventually, the driver comes to a stop and the crowd rushes to inspect the damage before the video ends.
