Florida SenRickScott released a television ad calling for President JoeBiden to resign, saying the commander in chief is 'unfit for office.'

“I’m Rick Scott from Florida, and I do have a problem, and so does every American,” Scott responds. “Biden is forcing America into a recession. I’ve got a plan to turn our country around.”The ad, which comes as the stock market fell Monday following a new four-decade inflation record, is part of a series promoting Scott’s “Rescue America” plan that includes a multipoint guide regarding how Republicans can save the country should the GOP retake control of Congress in the midterm elections.
"Tellingly, this comes from a senior member of Republican leadership whose hardcore MAGA agenda would be an economic nightmare for the middle class — raising taxes on 75 million working people while sunsetting Medicare and Social Security and requiring a super majority to ask the wealthy to pay their fair share," Bates added.
The Republican National Convention has blasted the Biden administration for touting economic success. “The economy shrank last quarter,” RNC Research tweeted with a clip of Biden saying America’s economy is the fastest-growing in the world while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week.The economy shrank last quarter. pic.twitter.com/MYirE2dRU7The ad is set to run on cable channels across the country.
