Image: PixabayThe South African Social Security Agency is expected to begin grant payments on Tuesday, and the elderly grant recipients can expect to receive a little extra this month.

The nominal increase will apply to all grants except for the child support top up grant which will at R250. This is the second time beneficiaries have received an increase on their grant. In April their was a R90 increase on the old age grant, meaning this year, recipients have received an increase of R100 on their grant.
