Based on the Japanese novel of the same name by Mitsuyo Kakuta, “Paper Moon” is a thriller drama which revolves around a woman named Yoo Yi Hwa who lived a comfortable life without deprivation and desire. Her ordinary daily life becomes irrevocably twisted as she starts working as a contract employee at a bank.will take on the role of Yoo Yi Hwa, a housewife with a husband who doesn’t seem interested in her.

The newly released poster features Yoo Yi Hwa staring somewhere with a sad expression under the hazy moonlight. The text that reads, “I abandon the real me for fake happiness,” adds to the subtle atmosphere of the poster.
