A tense exchange between Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo and her challenger Alexandra Mealer took place at the end of the screening for the Houston Chronicle Editorial Board endorsement. After an hour of answering questions from the board, the two candidates were given the opportunity to ask each other a question.
Hidalgo turned to Mealer and asked if she would unequivocally"acknowledge here and acknowledge publicly to her supporters" that Joe Biden won the presidency. Mealer asks Hidalgo if she would share her travel records to show how much time Hidalgo spends in Harris County.
