In light of the monsoon month, Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran issued a warning that there’s potentially a flash flood happening in several areas in Malaysia.The continuous rainfall caused floods in some areas in Selangor, Penang, Kedah, and Melaka yesterday night.

At least 23 areas, especially housing estates, in Bukit Mertajam were affected such as Taman Tenang Berapit, Taman Seri Janggus Machang Bubok, Desa Damai, Kampung Baru Alma, Taman Impian, Taman Sukun, Taman Mango, Taman Sentul Kampung Dock and Taman Sejahtera.
