A female reporter from Argentina was robbed on the air as she reported live among a crowd of fans celebrating the World Cup in Qatar.
Metzger also told her audience that she did report the theft to local police, who she said asked her what sort of punishment she would like to see doled out to the thieves.
“…I was dancing with the crowd,” she added, “and I’m convinced that it was at that moment when someone opened the bag zipper and took my wallet.” “Male police won’t register you,” Metzger explained. “As soon as I got to the police station, they took me to another place where there were only women. I asked why I was there, and they told me as I’m a woman, it has to be a policewoman who has to help me.”
