Video shows dolphins in frolicking in Houston Ship Channel
Photographer David James caught the aquatic mammals playing near Seawolf Park on Galveston Island with his DJI Mavic 3 Pro, a tri-lens camera drone equipped with 5.1K video.
Common bottlenose dolphins, an adaptable species that live in coastal environments throughout much of the world, are the only species of cetacean native to Texas bays and estuaries, according to the Galveston Bay Research Program. While depending on the rich resources of Galveston Bay, these dolphins can live over 50 years and raise several generations of offspring.
