“You’re so jealous,” Rivers replied with a laugh. “I asked you to come on tonight and look glamorous and look what you showed up in.” Without hesitation, White responded: “I like to think understated is a lot classier than all this other stuff hanging out all over, well it’s just ridiculous. The little tassels on everything. Can you get them all going in opposite directions?”wanted me topless.” White fired back: “Weren’t you? It’s so hard to tell.”The good friends couldn’t stop laughing and continued to exchange petty insults the entire time. It’s such a feel-good clip—you can’t help but smile at it.
White died on December 31, just weeks before her 100th birthday. According to her agent Jeff Witjas, she died peacefully in her sleep
