“It’s Showtime” hosts Anne Curtis and Vice Ganda entertained netizens with a video of the two that’s supposed to show how “true friends” laugh together. On Instagram, Curtis posted on Saturday a video with her “It’s Showtime” co-host that’s seemingly inspired by the “Ba’t malungkot ang beshie ko?” trend in which the Kapamilya stars are spotted sharing a hearty laugh. “Beshy” or “beshie” is a slang for best friend.In their version, Curtis was laughing so hard that she was unwittingly giving Vice Ganda violent slaps on his arm and shoulder several times.
Alluding to the viral meme, Curtis captioned her post, “Bakit [tumbling emoji] masaya [tumbling emoji] ang [tumbling emoji] beshie [tumbling emoji] ko? Hindi kayo true friends kung hindi kayo ganito tumawa [laughing-crying face emoji] @praybeytbenjamin.”
