Dick Cheney confronted Vice President Mike Pence about the Trump administration's foreign policy, the Washington Post reports
Former Vice President Dick Cheney criticized President Donald Trump's foreign policy -- even likening his policies to those of President Barack Obama -- during a confrontational discussion with current Vice President Mike Pence, the Washington Post reported.
During a private retreat Saturday hosted by the American Enterprise Institute, Cheney raised his concerns over Trump's comments against the North Atlantic Trade Organization and the surprise withdrawal of US troops from Syria, the Post reported. "I worry that the bottom line of that kind of an approach is we have an administration that looks a lot more like Barack Obama than Ronald Reagan," Cheney said to Pence, according to the Post, which obtained a transcript of the discussion.
