The sports talk host seems to be really hurt that Hurts left Lil Wayne's sports agency.

And that’s when things started getting a little weird. Bayless said he wasn’t sure why Hurts and Lynn left Wayne’s agency.

“There has been some speculation that maybe it had a little something to do with the picture of Trump and Wayne when Wayne went to talk to Trump about the $500 million package that was aimed at creating jobs for the Black community in October of 2020. And, of course, Trump did pardon Wayne before he left office in 2021.”

“I don’t know much about politics,” Bayless then added. “I am not political as my wife will tell you. I did not vote for Donald Trump.”“All I know for sure is that Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. has as big and good a heart as any human I have ever known,” Bayless continued. “His heart was hurt over this.”Then it got petty.

“I guess the only silver lining for me is, I’ve always been such a Jalen fan predicting the day they drafted him in Philadelphia that he would change their life and change their culture, which he did, and I’ve always been a fan of his that it made it a little hard for me last year when my Cowboys played his Eagles … made it a little harder for me to root against the Eagles because of Jalen,” Bayless rambled on. “That will no longer be the case.

All of that said, the idea that Hurts might have left Wayne over a photo he took with Trump is what folks ran with. Many folks on social media also found the spot to be weird and out of place. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
