The Warriors swept the Bears 25-12, 25-19, 25-15 at Northside Sports Gym, improving to 23-14 overall and 10-3 in district play — three games ahead of Stevens and Brennan in the loss column with three games to play.“Brennan is an amazing team, and I told them to be ready and expect a great game,” Paddock said. “They came out swinging and raised our level of play, and we knew we had to respond. Both teams hustled, gave great effort, and you even saw girls running to score tables.
The Bears got stellar play in the set from middle blocker Giana Brown and outside hitter Angel Osteguin, with both delivering kills. The Warriors got crucial digs and saves from libero Justine Flores, who earned praise from Paddock for her all-out effort.Paddock said the team will get back to work Wednesday to start preparing for O’Connor at 7 p.m. Friday.
