“I’m a first generation student so it was just great feeling that support getting to college but also through college,” Rosales said. “People from Cherry would reach out all the time, just to make sure things were going well, offering support whenever needed.”Leila Lemieux-Jordan, also of Evanston, said being a four time Cherry scholarship recipient was extremely important to her achieving her educational goals.
