Sen. Raphael Warnock and Republican Herschel Walker are deadlocked in the runoff for US Senate a week before the election as Georgia voters continue to turn out in droves during early voting.
Warnock and Walker each have 50% support in the pivotal election, which will determine whether Democrats win a 51st seat in the upper chamber of Congress, according to therunoffWhile both candidates have overwhelming support from members of their respective parties, independents favor Warnock by 52% to 48%, the poll found.
The high-stakes vote has sent thousands to the polls during the early voting period, which began last week.
