Amidst the drama surrounding the new heads of DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran, and the recent clearing house of the current DC Cinematic Universe which saw the removal of Henry Cavill’s Superman and Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam from their line of superheroes, Ezra Miller’s ‘The Flash’ will likely push through according to some Warner Bros. executives.
Miller has since apologized for his actions, and willingly opted to receive treatment for his “complex mental health issues.” That sounds amazing, good on you Ezra Miller, but that doesn’t change the fact that although this film is set to release this year, it was announced earlier in 2014 and was likely a key component of Zack Snyder’s vision for the DCEU. Things have changed with the arrival of James Gunn and Peter Safran who have prepared a roadmap for the franchise’s complete and total reboot.
