Most parts of the Philippines may continue to experience a generally fair but warm and humid weather in the next three days, the state weather bureau warned on Saturday, April 22. ManilaBulletin
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration on Saturday said key cities of the country including Metro Manila, Baguio City, Legazpi City, Metro Cebu and Metro Davao may continue to experience a generally fair but humid weather conditions until Tuesday, April 25.
Air temperatures in the following areas are forecasted as follows: Metro Manila ; Baguio ; Legazpi City ; Metro Cebu ; and Metro Davao . “Magiging mainit at maalinsangan pa rin ang panahon lalo na sa tanghali kaya hanggang maaari po ay limitahan pa rin ang outdoor activities. Kung hindi maiiwasan ay huwag kalimutan ang pananggalang sa direktang init ng araw ,” said PAGASA Weather specialist Grace Castañeda in a public weather forecast.
Within this period, the chances of isolated rains are not ruled out due to the prevalence of localized thunderstorms. In the same weather forecast, Castañeda said the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao are currently experiencing the effects of easterlies or the warm and humid winds from the Pacific Ocean. Meanwhile, no weather disturbance is expected to affect or enter the Philippine area of responsibility within the forecast period.
