KualaLumpur Warga asing yang pas lawatan sosial mereka tamat tempoh ketika PKPP dikehendaki terus ke lapangan terbang untuk menaiki penerbangan pulang ke negara masing-masing.
Menteri Kanan Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob berkata, Mesyuarat Khas Menteri Mengenai Pelaksanaan PKP mengambil maklum isu pas lawatan sosial yang tamat dalam tempoh Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan dan PKPP.
"Bagi warga asing yang pas lawatan sosial tamat semasa PKP, mereka boleh ke pejabat Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia yang terdekat untuk mendapatkan lanjutan pas lawatan. "Sementara itu, bagi warga asing yang pas lawatan sosial tamat ketika PKPP pula, mereka boleh terus menaiki penerbangan pulang ke negara masing-masing dalam tempoh 14 hari," katanya dalam sidang media harian hari ini.
Sebelum ini, kerajaan mengumumkan PKPP bermula 10 Jun hingga 31 Ogos ini bagi menggantikan Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan Bersyarat . Perdana Menteri Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin berkata, PKPP lebih banyak kelonggaran diberikan kepada rakyat untuk menjalani aktiviti kehidupan seharian di samping mematuhi Prosedur Operasi Standard secara berterusan.
