SEREMBAN: The war of words over houses between Pakatan Harapan candidate Dr S. Streram and Barisan Nasional candidate Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan continues with the former denying owning a RM7.8mil house in Klang.
After photos of a luxury mansion linked to Dr Streram’s name emerged online on Monday night, the anaesthesiologist asked his campaign staff to lodge a police report over the post, which was put up on the Facebook page of former Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia founding member Anina Saadudin.
“I don’t have anything to do with this house in Klang. I only found out about the posts after the media asked me about them via WhatsApp.“But if anyone wants to gift me a house like that, I would accept it,” quipped Dr Streram when met at Taman Angsamas in Rantau yesterday. The accompanying caption reads: “Rumah Dr Streram di Klang. Takkan Doctor boleh beli rumah 7.8 juta. Duit siapa? Siap ada swimming pool lagi. .”
