As tempting as it might be to dismiss Trump’s comments as the ravings of a right-wing science denialist, liberals do so at their own peril : The fact cannot be escaped that Trump holds the highest elected office in America, and millions of people understandably take him at his word when he offers advice on how to defeat COVID-19.
