Some central Pennsylvania swimming pool companies say they are struggling to meet demand amid supply chain issues and labor shortages.

“You just have to realize it’s going to be a planning process, a longer process,” Hoffer said. “I think most dealers are in the same boat as us. We don’t have the ability to go see everyone all at once.”

“It was definitely a lot more difficult last year,” Goodall said. “It’s a little bit better this year but now we have problems getting pumps and filters because across the country demand is up so much.”said they encountered supply issues and labor constraints last year.
