Gereja merayakan Hari Hidup Bakti Sedunia ke-27 pada 2 Februari. Sri Paus Fransiskus menyeru para religius lelaki dan wanita, untuk maju ke hadapan dalam misi kenabian berbekalkan kekayaan karisma mereka.

Dalam pesan tersebut, Bapa Suci mengatakan, “Sesungguhnya, semua umat Gereja mempunyai misi tetapi misi kalian sangat istimewa dan penting lebih-lebih lagi sebagai orang yang dikonsekrasi,” ujar Sri Paus Fransiskus. Semua karisma adalah untuk misi, dan mereka betul-betul begitu dengan kekayaan besar pelbagai mereka, supaya Gereja dapat menjadi saksi dan mengisytiharkan Injil kepada semua orang dan dalam setiap keadaan.
