KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Malaysia stands ready to extend assistance to Australia in its ongoing bushfire crisis, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
She said this includes the deployment of National Disaster Management Agency personnel, the Special Malaysia Disaster Assistance and Rescue Team and assets to help put out the fires and to support rescue operations in Australia.
"On behalf of the government of Malaysia, I would like to express my deepest condolences to the victims, their families and all those affected. Our prayers are with the people of Australia during this difficult period,” she said in her official Facebook account on Sunday .
