The Walking Dead: Dead City has a new villain ready to dominate the apocalypse. After Dead City season 2's trailer was officially released at New York Comic Con, the future of the show is brighter than ever. It was first released in 2023, after the original show came to an end in 2022. Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan are returning to reprise their season 1 roles, but they will be joined by incoming star Kim Coates and several other major cast members.

Screen Rant: Well, we know his character's name is Frugal. Am I correct with this? He's leader of one of the fiercest groups in New York. Can you tell us a little more about the character outside of that? Scott Gimple: That story. There's dangerous levity. Yeah, dangerous levity. I was thinking dark irony. There's just this dark irony that, because I've binge-watched the whole original show the last couple years, and I loved it. I already loved it before, but I love to be more... seeing it.
